I had to solve a 4x4 Rubik's cube-esque puzzle or my mom would die. At some point she could tell I wasn't going to be able to do it and gave me the last watermelon on earth and we both cried.

my rubik’s cube has taken over my life

remembering a few months ago when i was having a conversation with my grandma and it went to rubik’s cube competitions, and my grandma said that would be a good place to meet guys. (most competitors are male)

at the time it was really funny because i was gay, and even if i did want to find a guy, it would be someone i already knew well and not a random dude at a cubing competition.

it’s still funny for the same reasons, the only difference is that it turns out i’m aro and not gay.
